2002SINOPSIS
Victor Lujine vive en Canada desde hace varios años y vuelve por primera a la Argentina enviado por la empresa en la que trabaja.
Dispone de un dia para hacer una escala en Buenos Aires y así, visitar a su familia, con la cual no mantuvo correspondencia.
Los Lujine, conmovidos por su llegada, se diponen a recuperar el tiempo perdido. Desarrollan una serie ininterrumpida de rituales familiares en su honor y le ofrendan el amor contenido por la larga espera.
Juegos, canciones y comidas son las celebraciones que avasallan a su breve estadía.
El intento forzado por mantener intactos los antiguos vínculos desencadena un inesperado final.
SYNOPSIS
Victor Lujine has been living in Canada for many years and comes back to Argentina for the first time, on behalf of the enterprise he Works for.
He just has one day to stay in Buenos Aires between the connections of his flight and thus visits his family, with whom he has rarely exchanged letters.
The Lujines, moved by his arrival, are only too eager to make up for the time gone. They therefore celebrate a series of family rituals to pay tribute to him, and offer the love that´s been penting up all this time.
Diverse games, songs and meals can be counted hmong the celebrations that trample over his brief stay.
Pretending that the familiar ties and relationships have remained untouched, in due time everyone`s expectations are smashed by an unexpected ending.

Usted llega a una de las tantas rutinarias reuniones familiares. Saluda cordialmente y se quita el abrigo. Casi sin mantener diálogo con el resto, se sienta en el extremo aislado de una mesa larga. Luego, cómodamente apartado, se sirve una copa de vino. De a poco y desde la lupa deformante del alcohol y la distancia observa el accionar de sus familiares que, como pequeños héroes, yerran en torno a actividades, comidas y diálogos. Repentinamente, advierte cómo estas tradiciones legitimadas desde siempre se vuelven extrañas y hasta incomprensibles. La delgada línea entre la “normalidad” y la “locura” se desdibuja y acaba usted preguntándose por la naturaleza de todos estos seres y, por qué no, por la suya misma. Ana Katz

You arrive at one of the many routine family reunions. You stay hello cordially and take off your coat. Barely talking to the others, you sit at the isolated end of a long table. Then, comfortably distant, you serve yourself a glass of wine. Slowly, through the magnifying effect of alcohol and distance, you observe your relative´s behaviour, as if little heores, they confuse around activities, food and dialogues. Suddenly, you noticed how these traditions, long ago legitimated, become strange and even incomprehensible. The thin line between “normality” and “madness” fades away and you end up questioning all these human beings nature and, why not, your own. Ana Katz.
